Okay, I'm giving 5 stars because this looks great. But, I've made this the same way, but without the red pepper, cheddar cheese, or onion. I simply use one jar of drained (and squeeze in a paper towel if you don't want the extra oil) marinated artichoke hearts, instead of water packed. People literally will eat this with a spoon when I make it, and skip the crackers! But, this recipe is really nice, because of the other additions.

I have made this numerous times for family functions and I always come home with an empty container! I also place the finished product in a 3 qt. slow-cooker on low to keep it warm and I serve it with either wheat thins or scoops tortilla chips. DELICIOUS!

I've been making this recipe for years and love it. Even our young boys like it! I like the kick of red pepper flake as well, it can be adjusted to personal taste. This recipe is one of my go-to recipes.

This was a big hit! I used light cream cheese instead of the fat free. I might use 2 tins of artichokes in the future and maybe use 1/2 cheddar and 1/2 Parmesan to up the taste a bit, but very yummy. A great low calorie snack.

Made this for my family's Christmas get together and it was a hit! I'll keep this recipe to make again. We ate it with the 2 sided crackers....the ones with pretzel on one side and cracker on the other. Also good with wheat thins.

I didnt really like this at all. Didnt taste like any of the spinach artichoke dips I've had before. I ended up not even serving it and just threw it away.

I just got done making this for the first time. I tasted it and couldnt believe how delicious it is. Definitely the tastiest artichoke dip I ever made!

I was given this recipe by a friend in Louisiana, and brought it back to TX with me. Now I cannot attend a function without bringing it, or I am in BIG TROUBLE!! The only difference is that I saute a couple of minced pods of fresh garlic with the onion. Yummy and lite compared to most.
