My grandchildren love these sandwiches. I like this recipe because it can be made ahead of time and can also be put in the slow cooker. I've found it freezes well, too.—Patricia Ringle, Edgar, Wisconsin

I made this last night and my whole family loved it. It was excellent. The only change I made was leaving out the allspice because I do not care for that flavor. It was very good and I am having leftovers today! YUM!

This is so much better than pre-packaged sloppy joe mix. I like knowing exactly what's in my sloppy joes. My kids love this, too!

I'm not a fan of beans, so I loved this beanless sloppy joe recipe
