This pasta was delicious but I do think extra sauce is needed. So I improvised on the amounts to make it saucy enough my family. They loved it!!

My picky husband LOVED this. I made it pretty much to the letter of the recipe... used A-1 for the steak seasoning. Anyway, he went BACK for SECONDS! Posted a picture of my dish on FB and had a dozen hits in 5 minutes how Amazzzzing it looked. Plan on making it again when I have all the grandkiddos here I know they will love it!

It was very easy and delicious....hubby really liked it...next time I would add cut up dill pickles instead of the relish

It says DILL relish.......not SWEET......may make a BIG difference.

Very yummy, quick and easy! I increased the recipe just a bit to feed my family of 6. I did not have penne pasta on hand so I used bow-tie which worked great. I also added in some tomato sauce and left out the mustard (because I happen to hate mustard!) I used steak sauce instead of seasoning and used about 1/2 teaspoon of the seasoned salt. I also used about twice as much cheese and also added in two leftover cooked crumbled bacon strips. I had no dill pickle relish on hand so I used about a tablespoon of juice from a jar of dill pickle spears. Family commented that it really did taste like a cheeseburger. Might need some more salt or some seasoning- seemed to be missing a little something. Definitely needed something green on top for some color- kind of has a blah presentation otherwise.

I made this recipe and I did not like it. Next time I will not add sweet relish. I did not like the relish in the recipe. Yet I love relish on my hot dogs. Any other ideas to add to this recipe?

I've been making this for over a year with great results. Everyone loves it and I've given the recipe to dozens of people. One of my tweaks which I didn't see mentioned in the comments is that I use plum tomatoes and salsa in place of the canned tomatoes. Either way, though, it's delicious, and a very easy way to eat healthy because it's just SO good!

It really does taste like a cheeseburger!

We didn't think that this dish was actually going to be any good. It turned out okay and my brother loved it. It tastes very much like a cheeseburger and a little to much like one for my taste. Still, will still make this again.

I have made this recipe several times and my family loves it!!! It's noting fancy but it's easy and flavorful (the relish, I feel, really makes this dish)!!! I too add a little bit more relish when I make this...

PS: I didn't have steak seasoning on hand, so I just used regular steak sauce.

Great! I changed a couple of things to give it more flavor. Instead of just diced tomatoes, I used diced tomatoes with green chilies. I also added a little more salt and a couple more tablespoons ketchup!

My substitutes (because it's what I had on hand): elbow macaroni and 1 T Worcesterchire Sauce instead of steak sauce). My changes: 2 cups of pasta, 1/2 onion and 2/3 c. Costco bacon pieces and 3 T dill relish. Results: two picky kids (4 and 7) who ate their whole meal and a husband who said to put the recipe on our "do again" list. This was great and is bound to become a family classic for us.

My picky 3 yr old loves this! I make it often she eats it up every time! I use 100% whole wheat pasta to try and boost the fiber.

i saw this on my mom's desk over thanksgiving and knew we had to try it. finally worked tonight to make it. i just used regular elbow mac as that is what i had on hand. i also didnt use the seasoning mentioned. i went ahead and doubled it hoping it turned out good so leftovers could be had over the weekend. it definitely tasted like a cheeseburger. i think it could use more condiments though to really make it pop. i like the no salt added tomatoes to keep the salt from being overbearing. will make again, but mayb with some tweaks. had some bites that were kinda blah and some that were delish.

I have been making this recipe for several months and make it twice a month. It is very simple and flavorful.

Not a big hit at our house. Made as per recipe, with GF Penne. Easy, but just average for us, sorry. But it did taste like a cheeseburger.

Didn't add the relish or onion, but a little more mustard & ketchup. Love the flavor!

Love this recipe! I use 2 cups of pasta though, and a full pound of meat. I also use more onion because my family likes it. Great quick and easy dish that uses ingredients that I always have handy! My brother asks me to make it for him all the time!
