Made this just as the recipe stated. This is delicious! My husband has requested that I make it again. It will be my go to recipe for egg salad!

To Mrsroot, Daddycooks was referring to the review by rhwj@snet.net, not to Mickelsen's review.
I agree with Daddycooks! I'm getting tired of reviews like that. If the recipe sounds good to you, MAKE IT FIRST, and then tell us what you think. Otherwise keep those nasty comments to yourself. P.S. this recipe was very good.

Awesome,I would add just a little jalapeno to give it a bite. Otherwise it was great.

@ Daddycooks:I believe TOH specifically asks the questions "Tell us what you think of this recipe. Did you modify it? Would you make it again?"Therefore I believe mickelsen's comments were completely justified. Yours, however, are not.

I don't like pickles so I never put pickles in my egg or tuna salad. The one thing that I do put in my egg salad is tarragon. I love the flavor it gives with the eggs. Horseradish might be good, I'd leave out the green peppers.

I dont care for the sweet relish aI agree it overpowers the egg but it was still very good. Ill make it again but leave out the relish. Question though? If you dont like green peppers and horseradish why would you give this recipe a bad review and wright " yuck" Just dont make the recipe and keep your ignorant comments to yourself.

To All-This was a great and super easy recipe. However, I didn't use as much green pepper and added a little bit of celery. Also, I don't like sweet pickles and dill works out great. In addition, I didn't use horseradish, I used dijon mustard. Also, as a final touch I added a few slices of crumbled up bacon to add a little more substance!! YUM!

I made the egg salad yesterday with left over easter eggs. I also added some left over ham steak, sweet pickle relish instead of chopped pickles, a little more mayo and a dash of tobassco and worchestershire sauce. It was great. Thanks!!

The sweet pickles overpower the egg leaving no egg taste in an egg salad sandwich. Didn't like at all. Too sweet.

green pepper, horseradish yuck!

I leave out the horseradish (don't like) and use either French's bold n'Spicy brown or Hickory Farms sweet hot mustard to spice it up.
