Tip

Keep Guacamole Fresh

I like to make guacamole ahead of time for my favorite chicken quesadillas. I’ve found that if the avocado pit is added to the guacamole and the dish is covered, the guacamole retains its pretty, green color. —Pam Ubl, Coon Rapids, Minnesota

Not exactly "effortless" as compared with other guac recipes I've tried, but I will say that it was worth the effort! Better than store bought for sure, especially if you are starting with good avocadoes.

Great dip. Served it w/ mulit-colored tortilla chips. Next time I'll double the recipe b/c it's so good! Used 3 tsp lime juice and made an hour in advance of company, putting it in the fridge in a ziploc container allowing the flavours to blend. A keeper!

This is excellent - and so easy! I made it to serve with tortilla chips alongside of fish tacos. Delicious! It seemed to make more than just 1 cup - which was fine with my family! :)

This may be the best guacamole I've ever made. Creamy, delicious - I wanted to eat the whole bowl by myself!
