Quick, easy and colorful, this soup makes a cozy cup or even a light lunch on blustery days. Veggies add nutrition, and cheese tortellini makes it hearty and delicious. —Gaye Thompson, St. Charles, Missouri

I agree with the other reviews that it could use more liquid and I would put in a little less of the balsamic vinegar. It was too strong in my opinion. Otherwise, it was very simple to make and seems to be a healthy soup.

This was really good. Tastes very "homemade" considering how easy it is!

I have cooked this recipe twice and tonight I doubled the recipe. My husband and I love this soup! I use my own stewed tomatoes that I had canned and I increase the amount of garlic too. It is so delicious! Thank you Gaye Thompson for sharing your tasty recipe!

This is my first ever recipe review. I just had to write on this one. I love it. When I make it I also take some to my elderly parents and it makes a wonderful healthy meal for them. The flavor is great. This is definitely one of my favorite soups.

I just made this last night for the first time. I used herbed chicken with rosemary and roasted garlic tortellini and added just a bit more broth. It was delicious! This one is a keeper!

This is a great recipe, the flavors meld so well together. I did add additional chicken broth. It's great as leftovers as well. I have already made this four times since I found the recipe....it's a keeper!

This is a delicious soup. I will add less tortellini for my taste, but it is easy to make and healthy!

The recipe was wonderful. I tend to need more protein in my diet so I added a pound of chicken to round it out. This one is a keeper!

Excellent soup. I added more chicken broth than what is called for in the recipe.

Easy to make, delicious, and filling. I used Italian diced tomatoes (with basil and oregano) and spinach cheese tortellini. Makes great leftovers as well. I served this with breadsticks to complete the meal.

We really liked this soup. Very tasty and nutritious. It's more of a tomato base if you don't drain the tomatos than the picture suggests. It's a thicker soup so you can add extra broth to thin it if you would like. I think I'll try adding basil and oregano next time for a bit more Italian flavor.

This is a really good and hearty soup. Look forward to making it again. Needs a bit more liquid so next time, will also add a can of water.
