Easy Sloppy Joes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 3 cups ketchup
  • 2/3 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 14 hamburger buns, split

Directions

  • In a Dutch oven, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the ketchup, relish and soup mix; heat through. Spoon about 1/2 cup onto each bun. Or, cool and freeze in freezer containers for up to 3 months.
  • To use frozen sloppy joes: Thaw in the refrigerator; place in a saucepan and heat through. Serve on buns. Yield: 14 servings.

i made these for a family get together... My mom who is not a big eater, ate 3 of them. and asked for any left overs. I cooked the beef and then put everything in a crock pot on low for 3 hours. they really are so good.

This is so tasty!!! I love it!!! The only thing i did different was that i used 2 pounds of hamburger meat instead of 3, otherwise i added same amount of the other ingredients & it is sooo delicious! Way better than the canned stuff at the store!!
