Ingredients

  • 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chunky salsa
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup canned chopped green chilies, optional

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, onion, salsa, salt and pepper. Add the chilies if desired. Cover and refrigerate for several hours. Yield: 4-1/2 to 5 cups.

Nutrition Facts: 1 serving (1/4 cup) equals 10 calories, trace fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 76 mg sodium, 2 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, trace protein.
