Easy Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe
  • Prep/Total Time: 30 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  • In a large bowl, cream peanut butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  • Shape level tablespoonfuls into balls. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets; flatten with a fork. Bake at 350° for 16-18 minutes or until set. Cool for 5 minutes; remove to wire racks. Yield: about 2 dozen.

Leave out the vanilla, it's good that way! And yes - NO flour!

there are several peanut butter cookie recipes on TOH that are flourless. It isn't any mistake

This is a great recipe. I made the cookies using a 1 1/4 in scoop to make the balls and didn't flatten them. They came out fine.

its easy to make and i substituted raw sugar for the regualar sugar, also added a few chocolate chips yummy.

I made a recipe similar to this. It called for baking soda,not vanilla and chopped peanuts. Cool the cookies, then add melted choc. chips and chopped nuts. GLUTEN FREE
