We kids couldn't wait to dig into this tempting ice cream dessert. It's cool and smooth with a ribbon of fudge inside. Whenever I make it for my family, I think if Mom. -Anne Heinonen, Howell, Michigan

This has been a family favorite for years. My kids usually request this for their Birthdays instead of cake.

My sister-in-law made this for our family once & we've made it many, many times since. So good & easy to make. The chocolate layer is so good.

I have made this for years but I always skip the salt, tastes funny to me when it is added. I've used several different flavors of ice cream and even changed up the cookie layer to crispy chocolate chip. Great make ahead dessert - always a big, big hit.
