Easy Chocolate Pudding Recipe
  • Prep: 10 min. + chilling
  • Yield: 2 Servings

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped topping, optional

Directions

  • In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa and cornstarch. Gradually stir in milk until smooth. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. Pour into two serving dishes. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. Garnish with whipped topping if desired. Yield: 2 servings.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (1 each) equals 320 calories, 7 g fat (4 g saturated fat), 25 mg cholesterol, 91 mg sodium, 59 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 8 g protein.

Oh My Goodness...wonderful filling for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary Cake. To make a little more chocolatey I also added 1tsp of Chocolate extract.

Yum! This pudding was WONDERFUL! I had some extra whipping cream on hand I wanted to use up, so I replaced some of the milk with it...extra creamy and FANTASTIC!
