You can use this simple recipe to make a big batch of chocolate candy without a lot of fuss. I've sent these clusters to my husband's office a number of times…and passed the recipe along as well. —Doris Reynolds, Munds Park, Arizona

I made these to put inside of my Christmas baskets! Soooo Easy to make and they were absolutely delicious! I also tried to make them with pecans and coconut... I need to tweak that recipe a bit but they still tasted good. (I think I needed to temper the chocolate a bit longer) Thanks for a great recipe. Its a keeper for sure!

Wonderful - very tasty, makes a LOT and does not require your attention while cooking! I used 32 oz mixed nuts...

These are ALWAYS a hit wherever I take them. I bring them to work once and month and I am always asked for the recipe and they disappear quickly! So easy.

My Mom recently added broken pecan pieces instead of peanuts to a recipe that we have similar to this one-she said they were very good with the pecans.

dianearnet,. Yes you can use a microwave too.

Reviewed on Feb. 16, 2009 by DENA2

You can do it in a doubled boiler. Just melt the chocolate and stir in the other things and drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet with wax paper and put in refergeter for 30 minutes and that's it.

I use the oven on low temp - 175 or so.. Stir every 10 mins or so to check how soft.

I also use Chocolate bark instead of vanilla.
