A yellow cake mix streamlines assembly of this moist golden bread from Marie Davis. "I searched a long while for a banana bread that was easy to make," explains the Pendleton, South Carolina cook. "This one takes no time at all, and makes two loaves, so one can be frozen to enjoy later."

Delicious! My entire family loved this bread. I added some chocolate chips and oatmeal to the batter. My picky little son couldn't get enough. This ones a keeper.

I use basically this same recipe, but mine calls for 5 bananas & three eggs, along with a little cinnamon. It makes for a much more moist recipe, less cake like.

This is such a great and easy recipe. It definitely makes a great base to play with. I made it today with walnuts instead of pecans. I added in two tablespoons of flaxseed mill, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and an extra banana. Then I baked it in a bundt pan instead of the two loaves. It turned out great. The flaxseed is so healthy for you and adds a nice nutty flavor. It also makes it a bit more brown and a little less yellow.

I think this recipe had a great taste but....I don't know why it was crumbly when it was cut .It was very moist. maybe because I used skim milk instead of 2% has anyone else have a problem?

Very good! I added 1tsp cinnamon to the batter and it was great. I also added a streusel topping, but I don't think it really needed it. It was sweet enough as it was! I cooked my second batch for only 38min so that it was a little bit softer in the middle they way I like it. Very easy!
