This is sooo absolutely delicious! My husband and I were wanting French toast but were needing some syrup so I made this. It was perfect! It would be a little overpowering for something like crepes... but is perfect for something heartier like french toast. And, I agree with bravabear it would be delicious on ice cream too! And, so simple to make! I halved the recipe and we still have tons leftover, but I think you could make this recipe in as small of a quantity as you would like. Thanks Kathy for a great recipe!

This is an excellent syrup. It's great on ice cream, too. We have used rice syrup to make it a little healthier. It gives it a delicious caramel taste.SRP66
