Dunked Strawberries Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lime peel
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 12 fresh strawberries

Directions

  • In a small bowl, combine sour cream and lime peel. Place brown sugar in another small bowl. Dip strawberries in sour cream mixture; then coat with brown sugar. Serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings.

You guys, don't let the sour cream scare you away.. these are SO creamy and delicious! The first time I made these, I was at my sisters house and neither her or my brother-in-law like sour cream.. but they must have had at LEAST five each!! Try these, they are creamy, cool, sweet (but not too sweet), with the right amount of tang from the lime zest and look at that, they're good for you too!
