"A friend passed this recipe on to me and I made some changes that created this definite crowd pleaser. I make it for every family get together and I haven't found anyone, child or adult, who doesn't love this ooey, gooey macaroni and cheese." Sabrina DeWitt, Cumberland, Maryland

Very good. Very rich. All my kids gave this a thumbs up. My mom asked me to make it for our holiday get together. I used the same pot that i boiled macaroni in to make sauce and mix everything together to save dishes. I just left the macaroni in the collander while making the sauce. I used sharp cheddar and omited the topping. Next time i might add a bit of mustard.
All ny kids gave this a thumbs up. My Mom asked me to make it again for our holiday brunch.I did things my own way to save dishes. Like leave the macaroni in the collander while making the sauce in the same pot i boiled the macaroni in and mix everthing together in that same pot.Would definetly make this again.

This recipe was a big disappointment. Mac and cheese is my favorite food so I am always looking for a new recipe to try. This sounded absolutely wonderful, however the taste was just not there. Even with the sharp cheddar there was little flavor. The texture was also strange, possibly from using the cottage cheese. My children did not like this and I think it was because of the texture. I will not make this again. Nor would I recommend it.

Comfort food lovers rejoice! This is my new staple mac and cheese. Just be sure to spend hours at the gym the next day. Lol. :)

This was an awesome dish. Next time, I'm going to change to 1/2 sharp and mild cheddar and add some very fine diced onion. I'll cook the onion in the butter till translucent then add flour. Worth the money for the ingredients. My children loved it

I love macaroni and cheese, it's the greatest comfort food and this one is so rich and creamy. I love it as leftovers.

The second time I made it I used sharp cheddar and a teaspoon of dry mustard. Tasted even better.

This is VERY good, a little pricey! But then again not compared to others that call for more expensive cheeses! It also makes A LOT, so you should really love mac-n-cheese,lol.It would be great to take to a pot luck,( except for the cost)I don't like to waste anything so if I saw someone throwing this away I would not be happy! I also used several pots, bowls cups etc.. but the taste was very creamy and it turned out perfect. I might not use bread crumbs next time, one family member didn't care for that,be sides it's loaded with calories already,ha. This is a keeper, THANK YOU Sabrina :)
