Dijon Vinaigrette Recipe

In this recipe, Dijon mustard adds a new twist to a traditional vinaigrette dressing. Olive oil gives it great flavor, but I have used vegetable oil in a pinch.

Dijon Vinaigrette Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; shake until blended. Store in the refrigerator. Yield: about 1 cup.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (2 tablespoons) equals 167 calories, 18 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 242 mg sodium, 1 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, trace protein.
