Most people don’t realize that these cookies are low in fat. You actually get more than 2 dozen of the treats from a cake mix and just four other common ingredients. —Melanie Van Den Brink of Rock Rapids, Iowa

I doubled the recipe and used Andes Candies Mint Chips. They taste like a Thin Mint, but cakier! Love them! The batter is VERY thick, as prior posts said, but I loved the ease of just a few ingredient! Definitely will make this again!

Very yummy moist chocolate cookies! Easy to make and had no problems with them falling.

These were easy to make which was great b/c the kids were helping me, but I didn't think they were that great. They aren't bad, they just aren't as good as regular chocolate chip:)

Very good. Used Betty Crocker mix and one batch became flat. I noticed the one batch where I had a smaller amount came out puffy.

I made these (along with many other cookies) for a church function. These were a favorite and a little fun due to the name. I used Duncan Hines cake mix and I added mini chips and did some mint chips too-- they were great. Super easy to make and they are gone in seconds... Make 2 batches!

Betty Crocker is the brand to use with this recipe. They turn out flat with Duncan Hines. I know because I've made these at least 100 times and they are great!
