This was just ok. I would rather just have banana pudding. The cake seemed to get mushy. If it is being eaten right away, it may be ok, but having it a few days isn't good.

I made this once for our family. It was a definite hit! Since Valentine's Day was coming up, I made 5 recipes for family and friends. Everyone that I gave it to loved it!

It will be a recipe I will be keeping with my favorites...also VERY easy to make. Delicious!

I am always looking for desserts which are low fat and tasty. This one hit the spot because my grandson who as a rule does not like bananas ate his full share with the comment "grandma always makes the best desserts." Thank you very much for making me a hero in my grandson's eyes.

I've made recipes similar to this before, and they all got soggy after one day, but this one didn't. I will definitely make it again!!

Very good, I "freshened" it up by adding a new banana and more chunks of angel food cake and it was as good as new...got lots of compliments on it and a friend is making it for her daughter's wedding reception!

Loved this recipe. The cake is somewhat sticky to cut, but the flavor is wonderful.

We Loved this! The combination of flavors is Very yummy. I added an extra banana and topped it with toasted coconut instead of pecans. We will definitely have it agin soon.

This dessert would be even better in the summer when the weather is hot.

little dry...next time i would mix everything together first then put it in a pan

It was delicious! It does get soggy, but with pineapple juices seeping into the Angel Food Cake, still very good...going to try yellow cake or pound cake next.

This was so delicious. My husband and I are diabetics, so I used pineapple in its own juice, sugar-free pudding and no-fat sugar-free whipped cream. The 9x13 pan was too much, so my grandchildren absorbed the most of it. I will make it again. Thank you.

I made only half the recipe knowing 4 of us would barely get through that. Big mistake! I was lucky to get a mouthful! Absolutely delicious and so easy to prepare. Thank you!

Wonderful taste. I added sliced strawberries on top of the pineapple & banana mixture.

Topped it off with sugar free chocolate syrup.

Almost like a banana split.

Make only enough to eat as it does not keep well. It becomes very soggy if refrigerated overnight.

This sounds very much like the Hawiian wedding cake recipe I have. Instead of the angel food cake, this topping is put on a yellow cake. Yummy. I will try this recipe soon.

This is similar to my mom's cake only she made it with an angel food cake from a tube-type pan. She would slice the cake in half and hollow out the center bottom half and fill it back up with the crumbled left-over cake, pudding, crushed pineapple, (and possibly bananas) and replace all this back in the center hollowed-out section of the cake, put the top back on the cake and cover it completely with whipped cream or cool-whip. I got sick on it as a child as I ate a whole half of this cake - it was so good.

I made this recipe for a church dinner and many wanted the recipe. Absolutely delicious!!

As I read this recipe I was so surprised, as my mother has made this for years as a Summer Dessert. Instead of using Angel Food, she would use soft Anisette sponge biscottis as the cake layer, all I hear, when serving this dish is praise. We all love it.

this has been passed down in my family for 4 generations weve made it with drained canned fruit coctail and its so good with bananas and strawberries when in season. i've taken this to a number of pot luck dinners its kinda like a big pie... with extra helpings. this pinnapple version sounds yummy thanks :)

Angel Food cake is one of my family's favourite foods, and this dessert uses that cake to make it even better. It's delicious and definitely a keeper.
