I love chocolate truffles, so you can imagine my delight when I came across the recipe for these dark and decadent confections. The hint of orange makes them deliciously different from other candies.Theresa Young, McHenry, Illinois

These are decadent. People love them, and can't believe how easy they are to make. I sometimes use a sugar/cocoa blend to roll them in, which makes them a little less sweet.

The flavor was very good. But upon removing them from the fridge, they were so hard we couldn't roll them into balls. We let them sit at room temperature and they were still very hard to roll, but we did manage it. Next time I will roll into balls and then chill.

they were really good! I didn't have any orange extract so I used a little orange juice, I can't taste it very much but I love the flavour of the dark chocolate so I don't mind. loved them!!! though my batch only made a dozen....

These are insanely delicious and RICH! They are absolutely delicious but one or two is plenty for one person as they are so rich in dark chocolate flavor. I would make them again but only for a large group of people.

These are a chocolate lovers dream!! And they are so quick and easy. I gave them as Christmas gifts. Different flavors of extract can be used to give a variety.

These were good and definitely easy to make. Mine were a little soft even after chilling so I just used a little less heavy whipping cream the next time I made them. I also used 1 T of flavored liqueurs instead of the extract for the subsequent batches. I used rum, Sambuca, and Cointreau. I rolled them in colored sugar that I use for sugar cookies. They were a big hit and fun to make and eat.

I just made these and they are so easy and so good. I love the smooth texture. I used the super fine sugar to coat them and it turned out great! I will definitely make these again and try using different flavorings in them.

At first I didn't think that these would take shape. I left the mixture in the fridge a while longer and it was firm enough to roll into balls.
