I like to make a couple big batches and take some to work in a plastic container with dixie cups for scooping out individual servings...no hands in the container! the staff loves it

"Wow! This is great. Just enough salty flavor and just enough sweet flavor". These are the words from my husband. I will definitely make this again.

I took a double recipe to my grandson's birthday party and it was a hit. There was some left over and my daughter wouldn't let me take it home, so I will be making some more. :) Fun and Yummy.

My family loves this!! We made it for our family movie night and it will permanently be on our movie night snack menu.

As for olddutch, if you are that worried about processed foods, why don't you submit some organic recipes for us to try?

olddutch - I fed them this because they refused to go outside and eat the grass in the front yard

as others have stated this is a good choice as a snack. I am diabetic and also modified it for me. Honey-Nut Cheerios is very good as a substitute also.

I made it, but used Cocoa Puff Brownie Crunch cereal instead of the shredded wheat. We love it, just hope there is some left for the Grandkids when they stop by.

This is a great recipe! Everyone who tries it really enjoys it! **Note to OLDDUTCH: Apparently you didn't make this recipe, so why would you question other people's choices as to what kinds of treats we give our children? MYOB.

My wife is diabetic, so I used the Splenda Light Brown Sugar for baking and salt free butter and pretzels and added Dry Roasted salt free peanuts and Salt Free Roasted Almonds. My Grandkids devoured it and wanted to know when I was making more. If yor allergic to something or don't like an item then just leave it out. But this is Great !!

Thanks for a great recipe Wilma. I like the new twist on an old idea - using the animal and bear shaped crackers. Great for adults and grandkids. To those fault finders - variety is the spice of life! Moderation is they key.
