My family loves chicken...and I'm always trying new ways to prepare it. This golden brown chicken with its crunchy french-fried onion coating is great with rice, baked potatoes, macaroni salad or potato salad. -Charlotte Smith, McDonald, Pennsylvania

Super easy to make and delicious for everyone. I used the amount of butter called for and it seemed to work fine though, onions still came out nice and crispy. I used only three chicken breasts instead of four.

Moist and flavorful. I didn't have quite enough fried onions on hand and so replaced about 2 oz. of that with some panko bread crumbs. It turned out great!

I agree with the others. This is a wonderful tasting and very easy to prepare recipe! I have a feeling that it isn't all that healthy, but it is very good. We have it at least once or twice a month.
