Crispy Chicken Wings Appetizer Recipe

Crispy Chicken Wings Appetizer RecipePhoto by: Taste of Home Crispy Chicken Wings Appetizer Recipe Rating 5

I'm a beginner at cooking—so if I can make these chicken wings, anybody can! The recipe came from a co-worker at the hospital where I am a nurse's aide. I make it for Christmas, picnics, softball parties...you name it. I'm single, and I enjoy growing flowers and vegetables. Mom and my boyfriend always tease me that I should play less softball and practice my cooking more. Are they going to be surprised to see that my recipe's a winner.

I made these for a super bowl party for my son and his friends. They were a big hit!!

I've made these several times, always for a very large crowd. I found the original recipe a little bland and added a package of ranch dressing mix to the breadcrumbs and a little cayenne to the melted butter along with the garlic powder. YUMMY!! They disappear in minutes. I'm making 120 for a grad party this weekend.

great cold finger food for a long trip & kids

egg salad & fritos as scoops, celery & carrots with Ranch dip & cubed cheese. BUT save the wing tips to make stock or soup

I followed this recipe to the "T" and they came out soggy. I don't think there is such a thing as crispy baked wings.

Made these Christmas Day.... were Fantastic....Used Costco frozen chicken wings...I would cut the baking time down to 30 minutes and then check if crispy...The hour was too long..Great hot or cold....!!! The garlic in the butter base and the seasoned bread crumbs gave it some zip....Will make again...

I love this recipe! It is so easy to make and everyone loves it. I've made this for a baby shower and Christmas and got many compliments on it.

Wonderful chicken wings! I mixed 1/2 melted butter and 1/2 hot sauce to dip the wings in and then added about 1/2 of a package of Shake n' Bake to the bread crumb mixture. Served them with a curry mayo dipping sauce - got rave reviews! Will make these again!

I've made wings a hundred different ways but I always come back to this recipe. Everyone loves these crispy wings and they're easy to make.

This is a great recipe! For hot wings, dip in wing sauce instead of butter mixture, then dip in crumb mixture.
