  • Prep: 10 min. + marinating

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 2 cups sliced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup sliced onions

Directions

  • In a bowl, combine the first four ingredients; mix well. Stir in the cucumbers and onions. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Yield: 2 servings.

Nutrition Facts: 1 serving (1/2 cup) equals 213 calories, trace fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 593 mg sodium, 54 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 1 g protein.
