Creamy Waldorf Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large red apple, chopped
  • 1/2 cup halved seedless red grapes
  • 1/2 cup whipped topping
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons coarsely chopped walnuts

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. Chill until serving. Yield: 3 servings.

Nutritional Analysis: One 3/4-cup serving (prepared with reduced-fat whipped topping and fat-free mayonnaise) equals 177 calories, 7 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 142 mg sodium, 31 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 2 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1-1/2 fruit, 1 fat, 1/2 starch.

Very good salad. I added some celery but other than that, made it as per the recipe. I'll make this again.
