“I first tasted this at a restaurant, and the waiter shared the ingredients. I modified it, and now people say it’s the best tomato soup they’ve had! I almost hate to share the recipe since it reveals how easy it is!” Beth Ann Slough - Mountville, PA

Quick Homemade CroutonsI hate to waste the heel from a loaf of bread or a few leftover hot dog or hamburger buns. So I cube them into a bowl, spray them with nonstick cooking spray and season with garlic powder, parsley and basil or oregano. Then I bake them on a cookie sheet at 250° until they’re crisp and brown. My family loves the quick homemade croutons. —Nancy C., Windermere, Florida

Quick, easy and delicious. I made the homemade croutons to go along with it (also very yummy).

We had this soup last night and it was very good. Next time I would add some crushed tomatoes. The flavor is very good and I was surprised at the tomato sauce. Very good
