"My husband, who doesn't like tomato soup, really likes this rich and creamy version," informs Marie Keyes of Cheney, Washington. "It's easy, but it tastes like you put a lot of work into it. When I share it with co-workers, everyone loves it."

My family has been making this soup for years, and it's a favorite. It's easy to make and very flavorful. I've had many requests for this recipe. It's a winter time staple in our household. Enjoy!

I didn't really like this recipe, in a way it tasted tangy, most likely from the canned tomatoes. Might be better with more sugar. Most of it was fed to the chickens.

I have been making this soup since it was published in 2000. It is quick and easy! Sometimes for added flavor I use the diced or petite tomatoes already seasoned with basil, garlic and oregano. It is requested at every family party during the winter months. I made it for a friend of mine who is a writer. She loved it so much she wrote a story about it! We have since renamed it, "Lick the Bowl Clean Soup"!

"Restaurant quality!" says my dad, a long-time chef. Tastes just like Isaac's tomato soup (even without the hot sauce, which I omitted because I didn't have any). Unlike my dad, I am not a great cook and it still turned out amazing!

My husband and I had pepperjack tomato soup at Isaac's Deli recently and really wanted to recreate it at home, so I was thrilled to find this recipe. I followed the recipe to the letter but I added 8 oz. of pepperjack cheese (plus a little extra milk) to spice it up a bit. Hubby and I enjoyed it but the kids wouldn't touch it. (More for us! :))

Next time, I will leave out the cream cheese (we didn't like the cream cheese flavor that it left in the soup), and I will use pepperjack Velveeta instead of real pepperjack cheese to give the soup a smoother texture.

Also, since my hubby and I both like our tomato soup smooth, I'll use tomato puree or tomato sauce instead of diced tomatoes in the future. (Our soup had lots of curled-up tomato skins in it from the diced tomatoes...that's just not a good mouth-feel.)

Otherwise, very tasty. Definitely the best tomato soup I've ever had. :)

I loved this soup. SO easy to make and really tasty! I used reduced fat cream cheese, and I also used the cans of diced tomatoes with green chiles - it gave it a little extra kick. I definitely recommend it and will make it often!

Quick and easy to prepare with a very fresh taste. I've handed out many copies of this recipe!

I just made this recipe.  I have to say, it is very close to Isaac's soup.  I honestly don't like tomato soup, but this is one I will keep on making.

I've had Isaac's pepper jack tomato soup at one of the Harrisburg locations. I'll be trying this recipe to see how it measures up.

I have frequented Isaac"s many times when i visit the Lancaster PA area. with just a few additions this recipe is the closest I have come to duplicating their pepper jack tomato soup. To make this Like Isaac's pepper jack Tomato soup is pretty easy. Do the recipe exactly as above but when you add the cream cheese also add 4-6 oz of pepper jack cheese cubed and 5 dashes of Tabasco sauce. Mix until all the cheese is melted. Of course you can add more or less pepper jack cheese to get the spice you like.

I've made a few homemade tomato soup recipes, but I've thrown them all away since finding this one. By far my favorite tomato soup! And SO simple and it freezes well, so it can be ready whenever you have the craving. YUM!
