This colorful coleslaw is a longtime family favorite. Cabbage, carrots and green pepper are blended with a tasty dressing that gets its zest from a hint of mustard. When Mom set this slaw on the table, it disappeared fast. —Dianne Esposite, New Middletown, Ohio

My husband liked it. It had a nice zesty flavor with the mustard ingredient.

Liked the slaw and the tang the mustard gave it. Very easy to put together.

Coming from a family with "our own" slaw recipe, I was really taking a chance serving this one. I cut back on the mustard just a bit(personal taste) and it was delicious! My husband kept on raving about it. Easy to make and keeps well...IF there are leftovers!

Too strong flavored - More sugar? Less liquid/lemon juice/mustard? Plus too much dressing so very liquid

Never make cole slaw with mayo or salad dressing; I just use oil, vinegar, onions, carrots, S&P, and a bit of sugar. Not as fattening as mayo.

I have made this for years except my Mom and I add a cucumber and about 2 tomatoes.

This definetely sounds good with the lemon juice being added but I'm going to cut time and buy pre-shredded slaw with carrots just to try it.

I've been making this dressing for cole slaw for years, I now leave the seeds out because of diverticulitis. I also put it on lettuce salads. Delicious

I've been making my cole slaw with lemon for over 20 years! Never added sugar, mustard seed, celery seed. But will definitely give it a try!
