A serving takes up most of a day's calories, but they are worth it.

These potatoes are delicious, even if they are loaded with calories! I really like that they can be made the day before you need them. This recipe serves a crowd; I'd say more than 10 servings.

I've made these a couple of times already, and they are excellent. My kids love them. Thinking of making these today, for Easter. These are great for the holidays when you need to get a few menu items done ahead of time, and can just heat them through before serving. Love them!

I first made this recipe for our family owned and operated restaurant located in Kansas for our Christmas Party in 2011. Since then whenever we have a family get together this is the first recipe that I am requested to make. I cannot wait to make these for my son who lives in California. He loves potatoes!! I would like to personally Thank Amanda Sauer, of University, Missouri for sharing this wonderful recipe. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!
