Creamy Hot Chocolate Recipe

Prep/Total Time: 15 min.

Ingredients

1/2 cup baking cocoa
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1/8 teaspoon salt
6-1/2 cups water
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Miniature marshmallows, optional

Directions

In a large saucepan, combine the cocoa, milk and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat. Gradually add water; cook and stir until heated through. Stir in vanilla. Top each serving with marshmallows if desired. Yield: 8 servings.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (1 cup) equals 176 calories, 5 g fat (3 g saturated fat), 17 mg cholesterol, 100 mg sodium, 30 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 5 g protein.

The phone was ringing all day long I need I need that recipe loved it. At a school party for Christmas.

Good chocolate taste... not sweet enough at all. Very bland. It should not be called "creamy" either because it's not creamy at all.... maybe make it with milk instead of water and add a little sugar... I won't be making this again.
