Creamy French Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup canola oil

Directions

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the first seven ingredients; cover and process until smooth. While processing, gradually add oil in a steady stream. Process until thickened. Transfer to a bowl or jar; cover and store in the refrigerator. Yield: 2-1/2 cups.

Lighter version: Makeover Creamy French Dressing

Nutritional Analysis: 2 tablespoons equals 127 calories, 11 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 253 mg sodium, 7 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, trace protein.
