Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup thinly sliced green pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • In a large salad bowl, toss cabbage, carrots and green pepper. In a small bowl, whisk the remaining ingredients. Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat. Chill for at least 2-3 hours. Yield: 6-8 servings.

Nutrition Facts: 1 serving (3/4 cup) equals 125 calories, 11 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 5 mg cholesterol, 401 mg sodium, 6 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 1 g protein.
