I used celery seed instead, added some grated carrot to add color. Doubled recipe for large head of cabbage since we like real creamy. This recipe beats my mother's recipe and I always loved her slaw!

Sometimes coleslaw is too sweet and sometimes it's too tart. This is a good balance. I used celery seeds instead of the celery salt because I like them. A keeper.

My husband and family just love this cole slaw recipe. After making it the first time, we decided to add 2 bags of cole slaw instead of just 1 and it is even better. We will be making it all summer for BBQ's!
