This old-fashioned macaroni casserole gets a different twist, thanks to Gouda cheese. It bakes up nice and creamy with just a hint of zip from the hot sauce. It's comfort food at its yummiest.

This is a great dish my whole family loves. I share it a lot at cook outs and I double the batch but there's never left overs! Friends always ask for the recipe. The other thing I love about this recipe is it's half the calories of similar recipes!

I'm asked to make this recipe whenever there is a pot luck or gathering. Everyone LOVES it. When we do an order out for BBQ for my co workers requests that I bring this in

I left out the chives but added 1 (14.5 oz.) can of diced tomatoes, drained. This made this dish awesome.

This was great! I left the hot sauce out and it still turned out wonderfully!

Quick and Easy. didn't put in the chives, and made enough for a 13x9 in pan and added ham. It was super delicious!

This was so good! Much better than the box stuff. Love how creamy it is. I know this will be one of our favorites.

This was fantastic, and heated up beautifully in the microwave for lunch the next day. I used colby jack cheese because I didn't have any cheddar and omitted the chives to suit our tastes. Will probably add just a bit more hot sauce next time. Will make again!

I didn't have all the ingredients on hand, so I used whole wheat rotini instead of the elbow macaroni, and omitted the chives, and added cut-up kielbasa, and it all tasted fantastic! Even my picky toddlers liked it!
