I used this recipe as a base when I (thought) I had no ingredients for a fruit dip on hand. I had about a 1/4 pkg. of cream cheese, plus about 3/4 c. of sour cream. I adjusted the brown sugar to taste, and added some leftover pineapple juice and at the last minute some freshly grated lemon peel. It was a wonderful impromptu recipe.

This is delicious with apples! I usually let it sit for an hour or more before serving. Fun for kids of all ages, everyone loves dipping their fruit!
