Hamburgers with HolesWhen shaping hamburger patties, I poke a hole through the center of each one with my index finger. The burgers cook faster this way, and the outside doesn’t get overcooked before the center is done. As the burgers cook, the hole almost disappears—it’s barely noticeable when they’re done. This works whether you grill, broil or cook burgers in a skillet. —Jean K., Golden, Colorado

This is so easy to make and remember. We make it all the time. It has a nice Thanksgiving taste to it.

The burgers didn't hold together at all. Taste was only fair.

Really enjoyed these burgers! Simple to make and full of Thanksgiving flavor in each bite. I did not make the friest (I instead used frozen pre-seasoned ones, as that was what I had on hand). The whole cranberries mixed into the turkey were delicious, and I loved the flavors of stuffing and gravy in each bite.
