- Anise has a wonderful flavor. Here's a great cooking recipe using anise extract. But, as the others suggested, start with a small batch to see if you like the taste. - Have lots of Tomatoes. At one time I had a wonderful recipe that included onions, tomatoes, cilantro, garlic,. It made a great chip dip. Does anyone have this recipe. I recieved my recipe from a gal that lived in Mexico. I think she also put some lime in it. Anybody have an good recipe.

- Salsa Spuds1 4 lb Velveeta process cheese spread cubed1 4 cup salsa4 hot baked potatoes splitMix Velveeta cubes and salsa Stir over low heat until Velveeta cubes are melted Pour over potatoes Top with more salsa and sour cream if desired Microwave Microwave Velveeta cubes and salsa in 1 quart bowl

Freezing salsa
- Hi Was wondering if it is possible to freeze freshly made salsa pica de gallo etc Since I chop up my veggies on the small size having the salsa on the mushy side doesn t effect me But are the taste and texture really changed a lot Thanx for responding Cindy

- I prefer Mild I saw a recipe on TV that looked great and easy Just take a jar of your favorite salsa and add chopped tomatoes green peppers onions and hot peppers if desired It is called almost home made salsa Sounds yummy but I haven t tried it yet Muril
