My family enjoyed this dish at a church ham supper, so I asked for the recipe. I've made it for many covered-dish meals since and have received many compliments. It really is delicious.

I was looking for something different to take to a family reunion and come across this recipe; tried it out first and it was a hit with my in-laws; only had a little left over from the reunion. Only modification I made was cutting the sugar in half, 2 cups seemed way too much, using 1 cup was sweet enough. Delicious, easy to make and will definitely make it again!
