The pleasing corn flavor of this golden side dish makes it real comfort food. And because the recipe calls for a packaged corn mix, it’s easy to prepare. —P. Lauren Fay-Neri, Syracuse, New York

I made one change because I don't eat whole corn. I used 2 cans of creamed corn. Naturally it took longer to cook. I started out with 45 minutes and then added 10 minutes at a time until it was done. It came out fantastic.

This recipe is wonderful. I did omit the sugar as suggested. Delicious, rather simple and I'll definitely make this again. My family men said the recipe is a "keeper."

My niece made this for Thanksgiving. It was so good. Yes, I will make it.

I added sauted green pepper and onion to add and then put in a small can of diced green chiles. This was a suggestion from a friend in Arizona. Good every way.

Zero sugar needed. I have been making this recipe for a long time. I also cut butter down to 1/4 cup and use low-fat sour cream with no negative effects. Tastes great.

The only adjustment I would make to this recipe is to omit the sugar completely. I have always made this recipe without sugar. It is not needed.

This dish is a "must" have for every holiday meal. But it is easy enough and good enough to have for Tuesday night dinner. My family loves it and requests it often.

This is outstanding and so easy to make! To kick it up a bit, we added a can of diced green chiles as well. We also sometimes use 1/4 c. maple syrup instead of sugar - SO good!!

I made this recipe this week for a dinner party. It is easy, excellent, good consistency, but, the next time I will use 1/4 c. sugar instead of 1/2. Seemed a bit too sweet. I got a lot of compliments on it, though and will definitely make it again and again..
