These where really good- although they were not a piece of cake to make!

I had trouble with getting the batter to stick. I dusted the hot dogs with flour but that didn't help. I won't try these again. Not worth the effort and mess.

I really didn't enjoy these. They were a pain to make the batter stick to the dogs and not my fingers. I did dust them with flour before battering and they still just weren't great. The batter had no flaver at all. I feel like the batter should have had a little salt and sugar in it. It had no flavor at all. My husband thought they were ok and gave it a C-. We both thought they were extremely dry.

I think this is a great corn dog recipe. I usually use a spoon to help with the batter, but have never really had any problems with these.

I've been told to dip the dogs in flour first, then into the batter, the flour helps the batter to stick......I actually have a different recipe for corn dogs, it's really thick too, but the batter sticks really well! If the hot dogs are too moist, pat them dry with a paper towel, then dip into the batter. I also use a spoon or my fingers to spread the batter over the dog.
