Reminiscent of traditional corn dogs, this fun main dish really hits the spot on fall days. It's perfect for the football parties my husband and I often host. It tastes especially good right from the oven. -Marcy Suzanne Olipane, Belleville, Illinois

This would be okay as a side or something but I made it thinking it would be good for supper and was very disappointed. Also, I baked it for even less time than the recipe calls for and it was on the dry side.

Thought I would love this, as I LOVE corn dogs, but alas, no. I was so concerned about the overcooked and dry results from some reviewers that I think I undercooked this casserole. When I microwaved each piece on individual plates it did taste better, but I still didn't get that "corn dog" experience. Perhaps I'll try a different recipe.

This is a great Sunday Night Supper Dish. I 1/2'd it since I wasn't feeding a crowd and it worked out very well. It was easy to put together and I had all ingredients on hand.

It's a keeper. My husband and brother-in-law liked it. Taste just like a corn dog on a stick. I read some reviews and decided to add more hot dogs into the mix so there wasn't a lot of extra muffin mix. Or I guess you can use one box of muffin mix. ( I wouldn't.)

I was very disappointed in this recipe. There was way too much cornmeal mix -- I would suggest using only one package of corn muffin mix. Everyone left most of it on their plate as the proportion of hot dogs to muffin mix is so unbalanced.

This was so strangely good! I made it exactly to the recipe, except I cut The hot dogs into 1/3 inch coin cuts. I bake in a 13x9 pan and it came out very moist. Served ketchup and mustard on the side and my whole family thought it was really good. This is definitly a keeper!
