Mom's Fruitcake Lizzies (T&T)

1/4 c margarine 1/2 c brown sugar 1 1/2 c flour 2 eggs 1 1/2 t baking soda 1 1/2 t ground cinnamon 1/2 t ground nutmeg 1/2 t ground cloves 1 lb raisins 1 lb candied pineapple 1 lb candied cherries (red & green) 1 lb pecan pieces 1/2 c bourbon

Soak raisins in bourbon for 1 hour. Dice candied fruit and set
aside.Cream margarine and sugar. Sift flour & spices. Add to creamed
mixture. Mix. Add eggs. Mix. Add soaked raisins & diced fruit; mixing
gently by hand (do not use mixer at this point). Drop by teaspoon on
greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325ºF for 15 mins.Yield: 120 cookies

Notes: This came to me from my Mom who got it from her Mom...family
favorite.
