Coffee Shake Recipe
  • Prep: 10 min. + chilling
  • Yield: 12 Servings

Ingredients

  • 4 cups brewed coffee
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 cups milk
  • 4 cups chocolate ice cream, softened

Directions

  • In a container, combine coffee and sugar; stir until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Just before serving, pour into a punch bowl. Add milk; mix well. Top with scoops of ice cream and stir well. Yield: about 3 quarts.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (1 cup) equals 163 calories, 8 g fat (5 g saturated fat), 26 mg cholesterol, 75 mg sodium, 21 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 4 g protein.

This recepie is better than excellent. I made this firs for a LOST theme party and it was gone so quickly I didn't even get to have a sip. I reccomend making a tripple batch of this. I know it sounds crazy to say tripple batch but honestly you won't have any left. Keep the recipe on note cards to give out b.c people will ask. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

I made if for my son's graduation party last weekend. The recipe went home with many people. I did have some left over and I sent that home with people. I made the coffee and mixed it w/ the sugar 2 days ahead. I sliced the ice cream into cubes and added it to the punch, very nice look.

This is the biggest hit with our teen group at church. I make it for most get togethers. I've only made it with vanilla ice cream, but will try chocolate for my son's graduation party.
