Classic French Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the first seven ingredients; cover and process until blended. While processing, gradually add the oil in a steady stream. Process until thickened. Store in the refrigerator. Yield: 1-2/3 cups.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (2 tablespoons) equals 100 calories, 8 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 186 mg sodium, 8 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, trace protein.
