I make these at least once a week for my husband, David. He takes one in his lunch every week and never gets tired of them. I love providing him with something so healthy to snack on that doesn't taste low-fat. —Jessica VanLaningham, Cockeysville, Maryland

Used 1/2 cup brown sugar and used choc chips and coconut instead of raisins. The flavour is great but the texture is really dry. Anyone have any suggestions as to why they are so dry and powdery?

Very good! I cut the bars to be smaller so the calories were lower...added coconut flakes and pecans pieces. I cut the brown sugar to 3/4 cup and I think next time I will cut to 1/2 cup. I also recommend pressing the mixture FIRMLY down in the pan so they stay together when you cut them.

Tasty and easy recipe. Used chocolate chips instead of raisins. Will add nuts and/or dried fruit next time, and use less sugar.
