I've made these bars several times, and they're always a hit. I used 1 cup of chocolate morsels instead of 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chunks, and, for me, the bars had the perfect ratio of nuts to chocolate. I do cut them on the small side as they're very rich.

Haven't made these yet, but there is no way the serving size/amount is correct. No 13x9 pan will yield that much! I'd think it would make about 24 bars. Can anyone verify how much they made?

I always chill the bars first to make them easier to cut. I also started making them in my Pampered Chef bar pan. Makes clean up super easy! My daughter loves these!!!

I didn't have the pecans in the pantry and substituted raisins instead. Good, rich but they certainly provide a fix for the "sweet craving".

Although I thought these ok my family thought they were too heavy on the chocolate. These are very rich.

I actually replaced the chocolate chunks with 1 cup of butterscotch chips and it was wonderful!

does this really yield 6 dozen? esentially they are only bite size pieces? is this correct?
Does this recipe really yeild 6 dozen? So these are essentially bit size pieces that are 88 calories a piece? The picture seems like the serving size is much bigger.
