Clarify: set 1-1/2 cups mixture aside to use as topping; then follow directions from there on.This is a quick and easy recipe. Doubled nicely as well in a larger commercial lasagna pan.

I can't stop eating these!Nancy, the recipe is not wrong. It says to put 1-1/2 cups of chocolate chips inside and the REMAINING chocolate chips on top, which is 1/2 cup. Read it again and you will see. I hope this helps :) .

The recipe is wrong, how can you have 1 1/2 cups of choc chips inside and 1 1/2 cups on top when you only need 2 cups. Please fix recipe. I an cooking it now it smells good. I only put 1/2 cup of choc chips on the top.

Delicious, came out beautifully, and pretty easy too. I would maybe use pecans instead of the almonds next time, because I love pecans in baked goods. I only had 1-1/3 cups toffee bits because that is what size the bag was and it was plenty. Great recipe!
