I have made these decadent caramel brownies many, many times over the past 20 years. They continue to receive rave reviews wherever I take them. Unwrapping the caramels takes a lot of time but it is worth the effort. Highly recommended!

My parents alwaysmade these at Christmas time, and this was one of the first recipes that I ever made when I was 9. It was always my job to take the wrappers off of the caramel, now my daughter does that for me.
