Delicious! This is how I will be fixing our hotdogs from now on.

Delicious. I'm usually not a big fan of hotdogs, but my husband is so I fixed this for him. We both LOVED it! I will be preparing hotdogs this way from now on.

Very good, but use less water so chili is not quite so runny. Everyone in the family loved them. Quick and easy.

I cannot believe how good this is. This is my second time and didn't change a thing either time. I think I'll make all my chili like this from now on. It's so simple and everything is already in the pantry. Couldn't be simpler. Greatest chili ever. Thanks so much for sharing!

Oh, I feel like such a "dog" myself. I got so excited over this recipe that I forgot to thank it's author .... Michelle Harris, thank you so much for this recipe; hope you saw my review (along with others) and hope you know what a winner you've submitted here; life will never be the same, and thank god for that, because it just got a little easier, and tastier, because of you.

Absolutely the best!!!! So simple I'm shocked I just didn't think of it myself. Browning/draining the ground beef is about the most work you'll do here, which is practically no work at all really. Everything else is just stir, place in crock, switch-on low, and GO!! That's it!!!! And the results? Like you fussed all day. Truly one of the best chili dogs I've ever had. The seasoning goes into the franks, the smokeyness of the franks goes into the chili, all one big happy family! I added some cumin and a little more cayenne for my taste, and also substituted the water with dark lager beer; it was awesome to say the least. Also, the make ahead option made it even easier (if that's possible); after browning/draining the beef, I turned off the heat, stirred in the ingredients (without the franks), cooled it down, stored it in a plastic container overnight, and the next day, simply just added the franks and chili and switched on low about 5 hours prior to dinner. This is a keeper, especially for the hot summer!!!

This a 5+ star rating. I just made and served it to my family and they are raving. It was so gooooood! Followed recipe exactly and would not change anything. Thank you so much for a great recipe!

I browned the meat (good meat Moran's) with the onion and garlic. I subsituted a bottle of chili sauce for the tomato and used cajon spices. Put all on nice soft bun with some cheddar cheese. Really good, really easy.

This was so easy and so few ingredients to throw together in just a few minutes while home for my lunch hour. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the chili was too. I'll definitely make this again and again.
