We tried this last night with my family. We just made one big dish and saved the rest for lunch the next day. I think next time like others have said we will put in mixed vegetables and let my DH season it a bit more. Great though for those cold days you need something easy.

I halved the ingredients and used frozen mixed vegetables. It was absolutely delicious. It reminded me and my boyfriend of a Pot-Pie. I also baked my chicken pieces first in water. Once done, I poured out the chicken juice (leaving some for flavor) and used the same 8x8 dish. I highly recommend this dish! It's great for a large family and it's also great on a cold day!

Soooo tasty!!! Only thing I added was spices and used a bag of mixed veggies. Great recipe!

I used regular cream of chicken soup and my son said it was too salty, so you may want to use low salt soup. For anyone who has to rely on hubbies getting dinner, this casserole is good since they can't mess it up. That it makes 2 casseroles is great - leaving one for when you don't have time to prepare dinner.

I have a picky family that is hard to please. They all love this, and we make extra so they can have some the next day. It' s easy, stress free, and done quickly. To make it even tastier we use pre-cooked seasoned or left over grilled chicken.

Well you can never go wrong w/ the "tots" as we call them! Delicious! Def. could vary the veggies & I did add some melted Velveetan to the sauce part (just b/c I had some in the fridge that needed to be used). The extra cheese made it very cheesy! I think my fav tot recipe though is the madeover tater tot casserole on this site!

I had to add some seasoning to it because I fear it might of been bland other then that. It was good stuff!!

I added a little extra milk and a packet of Savory Chicken and Garlic Lipton soup mix. It wasn't bland at all! My salt-addicted husband didnt' even need to add any salt to it. Will probably start making this dish every week.

Delicious, my family loves it! I add frozen broccoli cuts instead of peas and my kids don't even notice that they are eating broccoli!

I make this recipe a lot! My husband also enjoys this recipe. I like the convenience of having a homemade freezer food that I can make on a weeknight after a long day at work. This recipe is one of my "Keepers"

I changed one of the chicken soups with Nacho cheese soup. I added some chopped onion when cooking the chicken. I also used one bag of steamers mixed veggies. I cooked the veggies as directed on the bag first. Then after putting it all together I used Onion tater tots.

Fabulous casserole. I followed the recipe to the tee and it was great. Next time I may incorporate some other veggies: mushrooms, green beans, etc.I think it may have been better reheated the next day too!

Try adding Bell's Seasoning, to taste for extra flavor (add to soup mixture and proceed)

This recipe was awesome. I changed it slightly the second time.I used cream of mushroom soup and used egg noodles in place of the tater tots. My family loves it so much, I make it once a week.

Healthier version: only 1 cream-of-whatever soup, 1 c. homemade plain yogurt, increase veggies, decrease cheese by 1/4 c., sprinkle season salt on top of tater-tots, no need for the butter. Good basic recipe idea.

We love this recipe, it's easy and tastes great! I like to add some garlic powder and seasoning salt to flavor it and I sometimes use one can of cream of mushroom and one can of cream of chicken!

Just not enough flavor. I tried adding a bit of Ancho chili powder, but it still needs something to perk it up.

This is basic comfort food! Kind of like a chicken pot pie without the pastry crust. My kids loved it and my husband and I thought it was decent. I did put all ingredients in a 9x13 inch pan instead of making two smaller dishes, as we have a big family. Cooking time was a littler longer because I wanted the tater tots to be somewhat crispy. Will be making it again.
