Chicken Perkelt Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup black pepper, to taste, optional
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 large onion, chopped
  • 2 low sodium chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Pinch salt, to taste, optional
  • 1 can (4 ounces) sliced mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream

Directions

  • In large skillet, heat oil and add chicken and onion. Season with bouillon, paprika, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • When chicken is almost thoroughly cooked, add mushrooms.
  • Cover skillet and cook 5 more minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the chicken juices run clear.
  • Add sour cream, stir, and turn off heat.
